STRAIGHT DOWN FROM PARADISO
The Paradiso black run is one of the oldest in the Italian mountains.
Situated just below Passo Paradiso, facing north, and with little exposure to the sun means guaranteed snow and allows the possibility to ski from the beginning of November until the end of May.
It was opened to the public since 1963 and in the last 50 years has been constantly improved and made more accessible without losing any of its charm and fascination.
The start of the black run at 2585m is adjacent to the arrival point of the cable car and the finish at 1850m. 3 kilometres of breath-taking scenery and a drop of 700m. Every run on this slope is different from the one before.
The view of the Presena glacier and Passo Tonale from here is absolutely enchanting. Once on your skis, after a few metres a left hand curve leads into a passage of large rocks.
It is the next sharp bend which opens up into a wall of magnificent snow which lasts for the entire winter season.
After this wall there is a more gentle trail of about 200 metres with varying levels and bumps therefore reaching maximum speed on your skis.
Attention: From here you can choose whether to take the left hand trail for approximately 11 km to Ponte di Legno (a drop of about 1800m) or alternatively the right hand route back to the departure point of the cable car.
