In the heart of the central Alps, since 1935 the Stelvio National Park has safeguarded the scenic wonders of its Alpine valleys and has conserved the fauna and flora of a vast area of protected nature situated between the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano and the Region of Lombardy.
Thick woods of conifers, crystal-clear torrents and lakes and pure white snowfields characterise the enchanting scenery, extending from its valleys to its Alpine peaks, of the Stelvio National Park. Vast panoramas where red deer, ibexes, chamois and roe find unspoilt spaces to live in, while in the clear blue sky hovers the majestic royal eagle. In every season the Rabbi and Peio Valleys offer unforgettable colours: the silent white of winter, the gentle green of spring, the warm blue of summer and the ancient red of the autumn leaves. A unique walking experience for all mountain enthusiasts.
