The ski season continues until May 3rd on the Presena Glacier, but for the lower altitudes, here are the official closing dates

Spring is fast approaching, setting the closing dates for the ski lifts. In the Ponte di Legno and Temù ski areas, skiing will continue on most slopes until Sunday, April 12th (only the Temù \"black\" run, the Cida nursery slope, and the Variante Corno d’Aola remain closed).

\n

From Monday, April 13th, to Sunday, April 19th, skiing will be available—weather permitting—on the following slopes: Valena, Valbiolo, Contrabbandieri, Tonale Occidentale, Alpe Alta, Presanella, Vittoria, Serodine, Tre Larici, Paradiso, Variante Paradiso, and Tonalina.

\n

In addition, skiing will continue without disruption on the Presena Glacier until May 3rd, the final day of the 2025/2026 winter season. Please note that the snowpark is now closed.

\n

Ponte–Tonale Gondola: Open until April 19.

\n

Daily Lift Pass: Starting Monday, April 13th, the price will be reduced to €49.00.

During the winter season, Toni’s mission never stopped. In Pontedilegno-Tonale, even the youngest visitors had the chance to discover the technology behind mountain life in the coldest months: the snowmaking system.

\n

Through the dedicated Toni totems scattered across the area, children learned in a simple and fun way how the snow on the slopes is produced. The water used for snowmaking actually comes from collected rainwater, ensuring that drinking water resources remain untouched. Furthermore, no additives are used: as spring arrives, the snow melts naturally, returning to the ground and streams, and seamlessly re-entering the natural water cycle.

It is a wonderful way to introduce the younger generation to the themes of sustainability and the responsible management of mountain resources.

The unsettling Ghostface mask has appeared on the Presena Glacier in a video released by Paramount Pictures to promote the launch of Scream 7, set to hit theaters on February 25th in Italy and February 27th in the USA, about three years after the previous film.

\n

It’s night, and on the snow the silhouette of a red skull can be seen. Two figures move along the outline of the skull, accompanied by music that drives the tension to extreme levels. In their hands, they grip ski poles ending in flaming tips. The words “Only one thing scarier than skiing the Dolomites at night” appear on screen. We see the skis, the fast run of the two figures across the snow, and then… a black figure in the foreground slowly turns toward the camera: it’s Ghostface!

\n

The Presena Glacier thus becomes a vast open-air set, allowing Scream to step out of the screen and into the real world.

The “Casola” slope in Ponte di Legno is back in the spotlight.

National teams are training here with their top athletes, and today we met the American Ryder Sarchett, Sweden’s Fabian AX Swartz and Argentina’s Tiziano Gravier, all finding the perfect conditions to get ready for the biggest races of their careers.

More teams will be joining in over the next few days.

The Alpine Brown cow is a familiar presence on our mountains and embodies the area’s rich traditions. During the Summer, it grazes on high-altitude pastures, and it’s easy to hear the sound of its cowbell as it feeds on fresh grass; in Winter, instead, it rests warmly in the stable while we enjoy skiing on meadows that have turned into ski slopes. From its milk, rich in Omega-3, delicious cheeses are produced—cheeses you can taste in local restaurants and mountain huts. That’s why it has been given the role of mascot of Pontedilegno–Tonale.

\n

A young skilled local craftswoman has personally made the plush toys depicting our Adamellina Cow. She carefully selected the materials and handcrafted each piece with great attention to detail, spending between 6 and 10 hours on every single one. These are therefore unique items, which may differ slightly from one another precisely because they are not made from a mold, but are the result of the craftsmanship and sensitivity typical of handmade creations.

These plush toys can be purchased at our ticket offices—just ask our staff. The Adamellina Cow is waiting to be adopted so it can keep many children company.

The Pontedilegno–Tonale offer for children is expanding! At Passo Tonale, two new areas have opened to welcome young guests and let them have fun in the snow.

There are two great new features for children: from today at Passo Tonale they can enjoy new games and attractions to have fun on the snow. These are two facilities designed to become reference points for families with young children, where they can enjoy new snow experiences in complete safety.

\n

FANTASKI is an area located between the Scoiattolo chairlift and the Presanella ski lift. It already existed but has been completely renovated. It consists of a facility with large spaces to accommodate children from 0 to 12 years old: a nap room and other rooms with inflatables and video games. A babysitting service is also available for the youngest children. Outside there is a park with tubing tracks and strider bike tracks, served by a new covered conveyor belt, as well as inflatable games. Fantaski is open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

\n

The TONALE MOUNTAIN CENTRE, located between the Valena and Valbiolo chairlifts, is a new complex designed for families and sponsored by Milka. For now, only the outdoor play area is open, featuring tubing and sledding tracks, as well as an area suitable for children who want to learn how to ski. Access to the Tonale Mountain Centre is free via the Discovery and Atlantis conveyor belts (free for pedestrian accessing the park); the park is open every day from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
