It will rise again for the 2026/2027 season with a series of exciting updates in technology, comfort, and design, making the mountains more "user-friendly" than ever.</p> <p data-path-to-node="4">The heart of the renovation involves replacing historic lifts with 10-passenger Leitner cable cars, which are faster and more comfortable:</p> <p data-path-to-node="5,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Ponte di Legno:</strong> A new cable car will replace the Corno d’Aola chairlift and the Angelo ski lift. Travel time will drop from 15 minutes to just <strong data-path-to-node="5,0,0" data-index-in-node="143">6 and a half minutes</strong>. The project, designed by architect <strong data-path-to-node="5,0,0" data-index-in-node="200">Peter Pichler</strong>, includes an intermediate station and will culminate in 2027/2028 with a futuristic panoramic mountain hut at 2,120 meters.</p> <p data-path-to-node="5,0,1,0,0"><em data-path-to-node="5,0,1,0,0" data-index-in-node="0">Note: Despite the construction sites, the Petit Pierre hut at Corno d’Aola will remain open throughout the summer, accessible by foot or mountain bike.</em></p> <p data-path-to-node="5,0,1,0,0"><strong data-path-to-node="5,1,0" data-index-in-node="0">Passo Tonale:</strong> Farewell to the chairlift; a new cable car with a capacity of 3,200 people per hour is arriving. Work will begin this summer on the Giuliana slope, eventually extending to the Paradiso and Bleis slopes, ensuring an increasingly timely opening of the ski area.</p> <p data-path-to-node="7"><strong>Finally,</strong> work continues on the Skywalk panoramic platform at 2,585 meters. The water used for snowmaking actually comes from collected rainwater, ensuring that drinking water resources remain untouched.
