Water Music
Every summer, at Pontedilegno-Tonale, music, water, and mountains meet to give life to a breathtaking show. Water Music is the summer counterpart to Paradice Music and brings Italian and international artists to perform on the shores of alpine lakes, surrounded by some of the most spectacular peaks in the Alps. A musical festival dedicated to water, which has its symbol in Lake Valbiolo at the Tonale Pass, at an altitude of 2,000 metres. Here, a large floating walkway offers you the chance to live a truly unique experience and literally walk on water. On the shores of alpine lakes, surrounded by some of the most spectacular peaks in the Alps: the experience begins with the scenery.
The concerts take place on the enchanting Lake Valbiolo, the festival’s symbol, and near other alpine lakes in the area.
National and international artists, different genres, and special appointments: a programme for all tastes.
From June to September, on Lake Valbiolo, a large floating walkway allows you to literally walk on water.

All about water
In Pontedilegno-Tonale, water is at the heart of everything: a precious and fragile resource, capable of changing form until it becomes music.
In our mountains, water is everywhere. It flows through the River Oglio and its tributaries, fills the mountain lakes, lies dormant in the high-altitude glaciers and promotes wellbeing in the new open-air wellness areas and the future spa centre in Ponte di Legno. In winter, it becomes snow on the ski slopes and ice on the Presena. But water is also a fragile and precious resource, in all its forms. Paradice Music and Water Music were born precisely to celebrate this element: to use music to draw attention to the value of water and the need to protect it. In winter, ice becomes a theatre and musical instruments. In summer, the alpine lakes turn into natural stages. Two seasons, two festivals, a single origin. Because life in our mountains depends on water.
By the water's edge, literally
Water Music brings music to some of the most evocative settings of Pontedilegno-Tonale, amidst alpine lakes and high-altitude landscapes. The symbol of the festival is Lake Valbiolo, at an altitude of 2,000 metres, at the Tonale Pass. Here, a long floating walkway allows you to literally walk on water, with an open view of the Presanella, the Busazza, and the Monticelli. From 3 July to 6 September 2026, the walkway is accessible every day, from 10 am to 4 pm. An experience to be lived with the whole family, even outside the musical appointments, to discover the mountains from a unique perspective.
