ADAMELLO ULTRA TRAIL
From 26/09/2025 To 28/09/2025 at Vezza d'Oglio
Running and TrekkingThe 11th edition of the Adamello Ultra Trail, a trail and ultra running event that retraces the paths of the Great War between Alta Valle Camonica and Alta Val di Sole, is scheduled for September 26th to 28th, 2025.
Runners will be able to compete on the Ultra Trail (170 km), Trail (100 km), Half (60 km) and Short (35 km) distances.
Registrations for the four Adamello Ultra Trail distances are open and with a special Early Bird price until June 30th. Starting from July 1st, the three longest distances will switch to the full price. For the 170 and 100 km races, there is also an active collaboration with the important international trail running circuit TORX eXperience, which is offering 15 slots to register for the Tor Des Géants – TOR330 without going through the lottery.
On September 14th, before the main event, the Adamello Series will also return, the program of collateral events among which the Adamello Vertical Kilometer races stand out (in the 3.7 km version for the competitive category and 3 km for the Junior category, i.e. children aged 15 to 18) and the Adamello Trail Junior reserved for Under 14s with routes that vary in length and difficulty based on age, up to a maximum of 4.5 km.
ADAMELLO ULTRA TRAIL is a 170-kilometer self-sufficient running race, with over 11,500 meters of altitude difference to be completed within 53 hours. The itinerary, starting and finishing in Vezza D'Oglio, takes place entirely on mule tracks and military paths, crossing areas rich in still intact war artifacts, which like deep scars still mark the territory between Alta Valle Camonica and Alta Val di Sole, within two national parks (Stelvio and Adamello).
The scene of great battles, these mountains are the testimony of a past that should not be forgotten. The heavy leather boots now give way to light running shoes to allow other young people to take on a great challenge with themselves, confronting their limits and their resistance.
The athletes will find themselves facing long stretches of the route alone, accompanied only by the sound of their footsteps and the rhythm of their breathing, for an adventure that never stops, neither day nor night, until the arrival of the last competitor.
