All about the event

All about the event

Paradice Music takes place at an altitude of 2600 meters dominated by one of the most majestic glaciers of the Alps.

The Paradice Dome is the fascinating setting of this festival which combines music and architecture. It is an ice theatre that can host up to 200 people.

Also the musical instruments are made of ice!

Guitars, basses, violin, viola, cello, ukulele and even the didgeridoo!

The icy instruments are artworks which perform incredible visual and acoustic effects created by the skilled hands of Lino Mosconi, Giorgio Tomaselli and Matteo Aielli: three artists born and raised in Ponte di Legno and Vermiglio who know these peaks very well and have learned to shape and carve the ice by transmitting all their passion to these instruments.

Paradice Music is a project that aims at the value appreciation of the music, the local area and the young local artists.

THE PARADICE BAND

The ParadIce Band, which debuted last winter during Paradice Music 2023, waits for you every Saturday (apart from some exceptions) and offers a very rich program of events with different themes: Italian music, grunge music, English pop and many more.

THE PARADICE ORCHESTRA

The ParadIce Orchestra plays every Thursday and dedicates each concert to a great pop-rock artist, testing both modern and classic arrangements in order to combine pop, classical and contemporary music. The Orchestra is born from the union between Los Locos Armando’s, well-established local rock band, with the pianist Massimo Faes and the eclectic Phenix, all female string trio. The result is a music that can be collocated between sacred and profane and between rock and classical music.

SPECIAL GUESTS

There are then some special guests, who have accepted our invite to play for the first time with the instruments made of ice. You will be able to listen to them on specific dates: on Saturdays and a special edition on Valentine’s Day.
