SASHA TORRISI

Vezza d’Oglio is always the place hosting the first event of the Water Music Festival. This time, however, in a new location: no longer the town square, but the lake of the Adamello Events Center, nestled in the greenery in an oasis of tranquility.

Sasha Torrisi, former singer and guitarist of Timoria, will offer a personal tribute to one of the immortal artists of Italian music, Lucio Battisti, revisiting his great successes in a rock and contemporary key.

The project “Sasha Torrisi sings Lucio Battisti” involves an exclusive and overwhelming reworking, without fear of comparing himself with the monument of Italian music. Sasha relates with elegance and style to the Battisti universe, thanks to the collaboration with the songwriter Mogol from whom he learned to “breathe” the strength of lyrics and melodies that are still current. From the numerous concerts, which immediately obtained a great response from the public throughout Italy, two live albums were produced.

The event is free and open to all.
