GRANFONDO INTERNAZIONALE GAVIA E MORTIROLO
The 05/07/2026
BikeOn July 5th, Pontedilegno-Tonale is set to welcome cycling enthusiasts for the 22nd edition of the Granfondo Internazionale Gavia e Mortirolo. These two passes, which have shaped the history of road cycling, are a must for every cyclist—a true challenge against oneself. The Granfondo offers the thrill of testing your limits on the same routes where the stars of the Giro d'Italia have competed.
The event is organized by Gs Alpi, an association that has been active in the world of cycling events and Granfondos for over twenty years.
ROUTES
As usual, participants of the Granfondo Gavia e Mortirolo can choose from three different routes, all starting and finishing in Ponte di Legno:
Long Route (141 km): Includes the climb of the Gavia and the Mortirolo from the Mazzo di Valtellina side, where epic pages of Giro d’Italia history were written.
Medium Route (110 km): Features the Gavia climb and the ascent of the Mortirolo from Grosio.
Short Route (45 km): Includes the ascent to Gavia, with a high-altitude finish and a non-competitive return to Ponte di Legno.
N. B. To ensure all participants can ride in total safety and peace of mind, the roads will be completely closed to traffic from 7:30 AM until late afternoon.
