A wonderful aurora borealis colored the sky over the Presena Glacier pink
1/20/2026
The aurora borealis is a breathtaking phenomenon that occurs rarely, especially in such a peculiar coloration.
It was captured by the new webcam on the Presena Glacier, which continuously shows (and records!) the panorama from an altitude of 3,000 meters at Passo Presena.
The footage can also be viewed later thanks to the time-lapse mode. Simply set the time to 10 pm, Monday, January 19, to immerse yourself in the magic of this pink, star-filled sky that truly made us dream last night.
