Expectations are high for the third edition of Elly Fanchini Day, scheduled for Sunday, March 29th, 2026, at Passo Tonale. Over a thousand people—including athletes, supporters, volunteers, and families—are expected to attend, witnessing a community that gathers every year to share a day that goes far beyond a sporting event.

The presence of some of the leading figures in Italian skiing has been confirmed. For them, Elly Fanchini Day represents a moment of connection, remembrance, and sharing: Ilaria Ghisalberti, sisters Nicol and Nadia Delago, Roberta Melesi, Elena Curtoni, Laura Pirovano, Federica Brignone, Sofia Goggia, and Deborah Compagnoni.

The races will kick off at 9:30 am on two different slopes:

Serodine Gara Slope: Categories from Ragazzi to Senior and Mini Lions.

Cadì SIT Slope: Categories from Super Baby to Cuccioli.

The event is organized by the Associazione Elly Fanchini ODV, largely composed of the "DH Lions"—former teammates who collaborate every year as a united squad, giving continuity to a bond built over time.

The initiative supports cancer research in collaboration with AIRC through the Elena Fanchini Scholarship and funds sports activities dedicated to children undergoing cancer treatment.

Many athletes have donated personal memorabilia for the cause. To bid on these items, you can participate in the auction on charitystars.com on Sunday, March 29th, at 3 pm. All proceeds will be donated to AIRC.
