The Sentiero dei Fiori, a spectacular via ferrata that retraces the walkways of World War I soldiers along the Castellaccio-Pisgana ridge at an altitude of 3,000 meters, is safely accessible starting Friday, July 3rd. Please remember that, as this is a via ferrata, it is mandatory to bring a harness and a via ferrata kit, and high-mountain equipment is highly recommended.

In order to ensure the best usability of the path and, consequently, greater safety for hikers, the Municipality of Ponte di Legno, in agreement with the Valle Camonica Mountain Community, has decreed that between August 1st and August 31st, this via ferrata can only be tackled in a clockwise direction—meaning from the 3,000-meter altitude of Passo Presena to the 2,585-meter altitude of Passo Paradiso. The Municipality trusts in the cooperation and understanding of all mountain enthusiasts who flock to the Presena Glacier in large numbers, especially during August, to experience this famous trail.

Lift Tickets and Timetables

The "Sentiero dei Fiori" ticket can be purchased at the Paradiso ticket office at Passo Tonale, or online at pontedilegnotonale.com. This ticket includes a return trip on the Paradiso gondola and a single ride on the Presena gondola.

Important Note: Please check the lift timetables carefully and plan your return journey accordingly to avoid getting stranded after closing time.

• Paradiso Gondola: Operates until September 20th.

  • Standard hours: Opens at 8:30 AM, closes at 4:45 PM.

  • Special hours: Opens at 8:00 AM from August 8th to August 23rd; closes at 5:45 PM from July 25th to August 30th.

• Presena Gondola: Operational until September 20th.

  • Standard hours: Closes at 4:15 PM.

  • Special hours: Closes at 5:15 PM from July 25th to August 30th.
