TrekkingAn easy and captivating hike, perfect for families and children, exploring the most picturesque spots of Passo Tonale. A 12 km walk along an accessible mountain trail, fully immersed in nature amidst enchanting landscapes and surprising highlights. Along the route, you will visit the Torbiere del Tonale, a protected nature reserve rich in biodiversity, where you can admire rare plants and unique habitats; next up is a stop at Tonale Beach, the white sandy beach of our Alps overlooking crystal-clear turquoise waters fed directly by the glacier above. The trail concludes with a visit to the Ospizio del Tonale, the oldest building in the area, steeped in history and shrouded in mysterious legends—including tales of witches who once inhabited these lands.

This free activity is reserved exclusively for holders of the Adamello Card and Val di Sole Guest Card Pontedilegno-Tonale, and can be booked until 8:00 PM on the previous day or until all spots are filled.

The hike is suitable for children aged 7 and up; younger children can join if carried in a suitable hiking carrier backpack. The route is not suitable for strollers and/or wheelchairs.
We recommend bringing proper trekking gear: a backpack, waterproof jacket, fleece, long pants, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, hiking poles, and hiking boots or similar sturdy footwear.
Please remember to bring snacks, water, and a packed lunch, as there are no mountain huts or rest stops along the route.
In the event of bad weather, an alternative activity will be offered.
