CultureAn easy hike to discover Vermiglio, where history, traditions, and cinema meet. Walk through its hamlets up to Poia to discover the film set of Maura Delpero’s Vermiglio—an Oscar contender, celebrated at the Venice Film Festival, and winner of both the Silver Lion and the David di Donatello.
Along the route, visits to historic sites like the Cortina Mill, ancient workshops, and the local dairy will immerse you in the rural life of the past and the stories of the local community. World War II tales, Alpine culture, and movie trivia come together for an engaging experience suitable for everyone, allowing you to see Vermiglio through a whole new lens.

The hike is mainly on paved roads and pedestrian-bike paths with short stretches on trails that are difficult to access for wheelchairs and strollers; however, you can independently take alternative routes to bypass these sections.
We recommend wearing comfortable sports shoes and bringing an umbrella in case of bad weather, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
