Aviolo Race is a mountain running race, a time trial with staggered individual starts on one of the most famous trails in the Adamello Park: the trail that leads to Lake Aviolo. The event is an official stage of the 2026 Coppa Italia Youth A and B Circuit – Supported by MICO, organized by the Italian Skyrunning Federation (FISKY). Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to competitors in the FISKY Youth A and B categories and the CSI categories.

In addition, a special bonus prize will be awarded for breaking the men's and women's course records.

The route, located in the Val Paghera of Vezza d'Oglio, entirely follows the CAI trail no. 21 and is about 2 km long with 500 m of positive altitude difference. The start is at the Rifugio alla Cascata and the finish is at the Rifugio Sandro Occhi at the foot of the fabulous Lake Aviolo. The race route is an uphill-only trail, also called "vertical" and of the "single track" type, that is, of reduced width and therefore passable individually. It is characterized by an initial part in the woods, followed by steep climbs with steps that go up rocky channels and finally flowing sections with more modest slopes on a dirt path.

PROGRAMME:

2:30 pm: bib delivery at Rifugio Alla Cascata in Vezza d’Oglio;

3:30 pm: start of staggered departures of individual athletes based on the order established by the organization;

5:30 pm (approximately): end of the race and awards ceremony at the foot of Lake Aviolo

Organization:

The organizing committee refers to US Vezza d'Oglio with the collaboration of the Municipalities of Vezza d'Oglio and Edolo.

INFO AND REGISTRATIONS:

The registration fee is €15.00 (€10.00 for FISKY members) and entitles you to a race pack with technical gadgets and typical bakery products, in addition to timing with chip, assistance service and refreshments upon arrival.

Non-competitive race for children/teenagers of elementary and middle schools.

Programme:

10.00 am: meeting point in Ponte Scalvino for registrations

10.30 am: race start

12.00 pm: awards ceremony in the Fondovalle arrival area

12.30 pm: pasta party included in the registration at the Fondovalle Refuge
