PASSI MITICI is an initiative promoted by the Department of Sport and Tourism of the Valle Camonica Mountain Community, in collaboration with local municipalities and tourism operators, to promote cycle tourism and the "slow" enjoyment of the scenic beauty of the Valley of Signs.

The initiative involves closing the main roads leading to the mountain passes to motorized vehicles. Within the Pontedilegno-Tonale district, there are two passes that have made cycling history through the Giro d’Italia.

These are the Gavia Pass and the Mortirolo Pass—absolute "musts" for road cyclists.

On Friday, June 5th, the road to the Gavia Pass will be closed to traffic from 9:00 AM to 13:00 PM, starting from S. Apollonia (BS) and Santa Caterina Valfurva (SO).

This is not just an event for athletes, but an invitation to all mountain lovers to discover and experience the wonders of the region in a sustainable and authentic way.
