The winter season has ended, here are the new updates for 2026/2027
5/4/2026
On Sunday, May 3rd, the curtain fell on this long skiing season. It will rise again for the 2026/2027 season with a series of exciting updates in technology, comfort, and design, making the mountains more "user-friendly" than ever.
The heart of the renovation involves replacing historic lifts with 10-passenger Leitner cable cars, which are faster and more comfortable:
Ponte di Legno: A new cable car will replace the Corno d’Aola chairlift and the Angelo ski lift. Travel time will drop from 15 minutes to just 6 and a half minutes. The project, designed by architect Peter Pichler, includes an intermediate station and will culminate in 2027/2028 with a futuristic panoramic mountain hut at 2,120 meters.
Note: Despite the construction sites, the Petit Pierre hut at Corno d’Aola will remain open throughout the summer, accessible by foot or mountain bike.
Passo Tonale: Farewell to the chairlift; a new cable car with a capacity of 3,200 people per hour is arriving. The top station will be located next to the Malga Valbiolo hut.
Note: Due to construction, the Tonale Bike Park will remain closed during Summer 2026. All other trails remain open
Presena Glacier: At the end of the summer, the iconic red cabins of the Paradiso cable car will be replaced by new panoramic cabins featuring a modern design, 10 seats, and internal ski racks.
Furthermore, to guarantee perfect slopes from the very start of the season, an efficiency plan for the snowmaking system is underway. Work will begin this summer on the Giuliana slope, eventually extending to the Paradiso and Bleis slopes, ensuring an increasingly timely opening of the ski area.
Finally, work continues on the Skywalk panoramic platform at 2,585 meters. This transparent glass walkway with 360° views is set for completion in 2027.
