Ponte di Legno invites you to a two-day journey of discovery through the wines of Valle Camonica with the first edition of the Wine Event. Organized by the Valle Camonica Wine Consortium, which brings together 20 wineries from across the valley, this new event aims to connect the worlds of food, tourism and wine, offering a contemporary and collective story of this beautiful alpine region.

The events will take place on Monday, August 17, and Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at various venues throughout Ponte di Legno.

Monday, August 17th

The first event, "Sparkling & White Wines at Altitude", will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Golf Club Ponte di Legno Club House, located next to Lake Valbione and easily accessible by chairlift. Guests will have the opportunity to taste a selection of white and sparkling wines produced by the wineries of the Valle Camonica Wine Consortium.

The second event of the day, "Sunset in the Gondola", will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. An exclusive aperitif will be served aboard the Ponte di Legno–Tonale gondola lift, along the route between Ponte di Legno and the mid-station. Each gondola accommodates up to four guests, who will enjoy a tasting of local cheeses and cured meats paired with two bottles of wine from the Valle Camonica Wine Consortium during the ride.

Tuesday, August 18th

At the new Ponte di Legno Multi-Purpose Centre, located beneath the Terrazza Belvedere in the heart of the village, the "Valle Camonica Wine Tasting" will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitors will have the opportunity to sample every label produced by the wineries of the Valle Camonica Wine Consortium. Admission is €15.00 per person.

The final event on the programme is "Camunian Wines Paired with Local Flavours", organized in collaboration with the Ponte di Legno Alta Valle Camonica Restaurant Association. Participating restaurants will offer a traditional Camunian dish paired with a local wine, celebrating the region's culinary heritage.

The initiative is promoted by the Municipality of Ponte di Legno, the Comunità Montana di Valle Camonica, and the Valle Camonica Wine Consortium, with the support of local and provincial partners. Its aim is to introduce both wine enthusiasts and newcomers to an authentic journey of flavour, culture and discovery.
